Getting Started with MigrateClouds
Overview
MigrateClouds is a powerful platform that allows you to seamlessly transfer files between different cloud storage services, manage your cloud files in one place, and automate file operations across multiple services.
This guide will help you set up your account, connect your first cloud service, and perform your first file transfer.
Prerequisites
- A valid email address for account creation
- Access to at least one cloud storage account (Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox)
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
Quick Start Checklist

Step 1: Create Your Account
Visit the MigrateClouds homepage and click on "Sign Up".
Enter your email address and create a secure password.
Check your email for a verification link and click it to confirm your account.
Once verified, log in to access your dashboard.
Note: For enhanced security, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication in your account settings after signing up.
Step 2: Connect Your Cloud Services
MigrateClouds supports multiple cloud storage providers. Here's how to connect your first service:
From your dashboard, locate the "Connected Services" section.
Click on the service you want to connect (Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox).
You'll be redirected to the service's authentication page. Log in and grant MigrateClouds the necessary permissions.
After successful authentication, you'll be redirected back to your dashboard with the service now connected.

Step 3: Explore Your Files
Once you've connected a cloud service, you can browse and manage your files:
Navigate to the "File Manager" section in your dashboard.
Select the connected service from the dropdown menu.
Browse through your folders and files using the file explorer interface.
Use the toolbar options to perform actions like creating new folders, uploading files, or selecting multiple items.
Step 4: Perform Your First Transfer
To transfer files between cloud services:
Connect at least two cloud services as described in Step 2.
In the File Manager, select the source service and navigate to the files you want to transfer.
Select one or more files by checking the boxes next to them.
Click the "Copy" button in the toolbar.
Switch to the destination service using the dropdown menu.
Navigate to the destination folder.
Click the "Paste" button to initiate the transfer.
Success: You can monitor the progress of your transfers in the "Transfers" section of your dashboard.
